Tips to Keep Your Pet Happy and Healthy!

Regular Vet Check-Ups:

Schedule regular vet visits to keep your pet healthy and up to date on vaccinations. Follow your vet’s recommendations for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention treatments.

Microchip Your Pet:

Ensure your pet has a microchip for easy identification if they get lost.

Pet-Proof Your Home:

Keep hazardous items like toxic plants, cleaning supplies, and electrical cords out of reach.

HOT WEATHER TIPS:

Provide Plenty Of Fresh Water

Always ensure your pet has access to clean, cool water, especially during hot days.

Avoid Hot Pavements

Asphalt can burn your pet’s paws. Walk them during cooler parts of the day (early morning or late evening).

Never Leave Pets In Cars

Even on mild days, cars can heat up quickly, causing life-threatening conditions for pets.

101COLD WEATHER TIPS:

Limit Time Outdoors

Avoid long walks or outdoor playtime in freezing temperatures. Shorten walks and keep them bundled up.

Protect Paws From Ice And Salt

Salt can irritate paws, and ice can cause slipping. Clean your pet’s paws after walks or use booties for protection

Keep Pets Indoors During Severe Weather

Cold temperatures, snow, and storms can be dangerous for pets. Bring them inside when the weather is extreme.
