Houston, TX – Friday, May 30, 2025 marked a proud and memorable moment for the Hunton Group family—the graduation of our very first Hunton Services HVAC Apprenticeship Program class. More than just a ceremony, it was a celebration of perseverance, dedication, and the bright futures that lie ahead for these outstanding individuals.
We are proud to recognize our inaugural graduates: Jonathan Hernandez, Josh Gonzalez, Julian Mendoza, Ronnie Lopez, and Seth Shields. Over the past four years, they’ve demonstrated an incredible work ethic, built advanced technical skills, and grown into leaders in the field. Their efforts earned them the Department of Labor Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship in HVAC Mechanic and Installer—an impressive milestone and a major success for this program.
This accomplishment is a reflection of the Hunton Group’s core values and our unwavering commitment to people. Launched in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, the apprenticeship program was created with one clear purpose: to invest in future HVAC technicians and build a sustainable talent pipeline. Under the theme “We Invest, You Thrive,” the program exemplifies our Human Resources strategy to attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent.
