Create Your Very Own Vision Board

Have you ever heard of Vision Boards? Vision Boards are used by many influential leaders as a tool to manifest their goals and turn their dreams into reality. Although vision boards might not be total magic or something that will make your dreams come true overnight, it creates a visualization of what you want to achieve and gives you the motivation to work hard for it.

But what is a vision board?

A Vision Board is a collage of images representing your goals. These images, or even words, might be cut out from magazines or printed from the internet. If you are not into DIY or crafts, you can create a digital version using Visuapp or Canva.

How can a vision board help us?

By visualizing our goals, we can increase motivation and the confidence to work hard towards those goals. If you place your vision board in a place where you see it every day, it will become a constant reminder of what is important to you and what you want to truly focus on.

Now, let’s create your very own vision board…

Take the time to really think about your goals and dreams. Self-reflect on what you would like to achieve either in the short-term or long-term. Also, you could include things that you would like to change in your life, new habits you would like to develop, or unhealthy habits that you would like to stop.

Once you have decided what you want to see every day, choose images and words from magazines or the internet. For instance, if you are wanting a new car then include pictures of your dream vehicle. If you just want more balance and peace in your life include images of people representing that state of mind. Also, you can decide how big or small your vision board needs to be.

Lastly, put your board somewhere you can see it every day- in your room, your living room, or even your office.

Do not forget that you can make updates. Sometimes our goals change, and it is okay. In the same way, do not beat yourself up if you have not achieved the goals on your board in six months. Just keep working hard, and do not give up.
