Hunton Group Hosts Largest HVAC Industry Car Show Yet at 8th Annual Cool Rides Hot Rods Event

Houston, TX – May 16, 2026 — The Hunton Group successfully hosted its 8th Annual HVAC Industry Car Show, Cool Rides Hot Rods, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, bringing together the Houston HVAC community, car enthusiasts, industry partners, and local families for a memorable event focused on community connection and giving back.

Held at First United Methodist Church’s parking lot in Westchase, this year’s event became the largest in the show’s history, featuring an impressive 113 registered vehicles ranging from vintage classics and custom hot rods to motorcycles, lifted trucks, and modern performance cars.

The annual event continued its tradition of supporting The Hunton Group’s Backpacks for Kids Drive, helping provide essential school supplies to children in need throughout local communities. To date, the program has distributed more than 18,000 backpacks to students, helping prepare them for success in the classroom.

“This event continues to grow every year because of the incredible support from our HVAC partners, sponsors, volunteers, and the Houston community,” said Richard Hunton, Jr., President and CEO of Hunton Group. “What started as a small gathering has become an event that truly brings people together while making a positive impact for local children and families.”

A major highlight of this year’s show was the appearance of special guest Dave Kindig, founder of Kindig-It Design and star of Bitchin’ Rides. Fans had the opportunity to meet Kindig, hear about his passion for automotive craftsmanship, and receive autographs throughout the event.

Attendees also enjoyed special appearances by Theresa Rockface of 94.5 The Buzz/iHeartRadio, Orion of the Sugar Land Space Cowboys, and celebrity jeweler Johnny Dang, all of whom brought energy, excitement, and entertainment to the morning festivities.

Guests enjoyed music, sponsor booths, door prizes, interactive activities, and the popular People’s Choice Award, where attendees voted for their favorite vehicle on display.
