HOUSTON, TX – At Hunton, our purpose is to radically improve the indoor environments in which people live, work, learn, and play. Supporting our local schools has always been a cornerstone of our purpose.
Since 2019, Hunton Group has proudly partnered with the Houston Police Department (HPD) to support thousands of students across the Greater Houston area by providing backpacks and essential school supplies. This year on Friday, August 16th a few of our Hunton team members met up with HPD and personally delivered over 2,500 backpacks filled with supplies to five Title 1 schools in five different school districts.
Our annual Cool Rides and Hot Rods Car Show, a family-friendly event, is how we generate funds for our backpack drive. The event is always a hit, combining fun and philanthropy. Mark your calendars for April 2025, as next year’s show promises to be our biggest one yet!
We are honored to make a meaningful impact on the lives of so many young students, and we extend our heartfelt wishes to them for a successful 2024-2025 school year.
